Unit 34 Guaranteed Tag Elk Hunts (NO DRAW NEEDED)
, 1x1 Unit 34 is by far one of the top units to hunt in 34 and is getting tougher and tougher to draw each year. But if you are tires of waiting on draw and want to experience elk hunting like no other we now have guaranteed tag hunts for this unit. This eliminates the disappointing factor of not drawing and allows you to plan for your hunt. Bulls in this unit range from 275-315 in this unit with chances at 320 or better. The elk population is great and we have continued to have 100% opportunity, with 100% kill during youth rifle, muzzleloader and rifle. The tags we get are Unit Wide which means we can hunt both private and public lands. We have a limited supply of these hunts so you will want to book early, we are booking for fall 2026 all you need is 500.00 to hold your dates. Unit 34 Private Land Rut Hunt Elk Hunting
I have a 350 acre private land piece of property in Unit 34 that we are now hunting. It is pretty much a sit over water hole, however to date we have had actually called in all the bulls we have shot. Lots of elk in the area come to use this main water source. The neat thing about this property is for rifle hunts, we can start hunting Oct. 1 right in the middle of the rut activity, it doesn't get much better than that and although it is not a huge piece of property it is located in a great spot. Like I said we do very well calling in bulls on this property. The Oct 1-15 dates have been awesome!!
I have worked out pricing with rancher to do a trophy fee type hunt. Hunt cost includes the 1500.00 for the initial private access and if you kill a bull another 3500.00 will be due. So essentially tag is 5000.00 nearly half the cost of a Unit Wide tag and you can hunt Oct 1 with rifle!! This is a great opportunity and at a cheaper price to experience Unit 34 and kill a nice bull. Its also a very easy laid back hunt so great for hunters who may not be able to chase elk walking 5-10 miles a day.

Private Land Antelope Hunts on ourUnit 32 Ranches
The Morris Ranch is located near Ft. Sumner NM and the JY and Harrisons Ranches are located about 1 hour south of Ft Sumner. Both ranches are located in great areas for trophy goats. We get 4 tags on Morris Ranch and 6-8 on the JY and Harrison Ranches. Ranches are about 15,000 acres each and both hold lots of goats. Its not uncommon to see several bucks a day. Most goats average in mid 70's but the area has potential for 80+. The hunts takes place during first last 2 weeks of August. Again what you see in our pricing is what you pay no other hidden costs, they include landowner voucher, license fees, and taxes. For those wanting to hunt the JY Ranch we will also put you in the draw if you book prior to deadline, because if you draw that unit for a tag, it would open up another 10-15,000 acres of BLM leased land that surround the ranch. Which just opens up that much more opportunity. This is the best way to hunt goats in NM!
